The VC60RIM is an impedance-multiplying stereo volume
control that features 12 control positions, soft-touch action and silent
switching capability. The VC60RIM incorporates a rotary control.
This volume control can be safely used with amplifiers that deliver up to 60 watts RMS per channel.
When properly implemented, the Sonance VC60RIM allows the
safe use of multiple pairs of speakers with amplifiers not specifically-designed
to run the low-impedance loads presented by multiple speakers. Adjustable
impedance jumpers allow as many as 8 pairs of 8-ohm speakers (or 4 pairs of
4-ohm speakers) to be driven by a single 8-ohm capable amplifier.
